Raymond Onyango

Raymond is a  Fitness Activist, Writer, Consultant and Yoga teacher living and teaching in Denver, Colorado. I have been involved in the fitness industry for the last 15 years, in various capacities and I continue to pursue my passion for fitness today – through weekly newspaper articles, public speaking opportunities, consultancies with various organizations and of course teaching Yoga classes.

As a Health and Wellness Consultant, i have a no nonsense approach to training. I will help you develop the skills and motivation neccesary to exercise safely  and effectively. Raymond is not a rent – a – friend kind of fitness trainer. I am an exercise professional who gets the job done.

My training philosophy is that of providing a holistic service. That is taking into account all the circumstances that influence my clients ability to achieve their goals, including eating habits, exercise habits and psychological motivation in order to help the client achieve their own personal aspirations.

This holistic approach also extends to other areas of the clients life including stress management, postural assesment and various forms of stretching ,for the purposes of both injury rehabilitation as well as prevention. Raymond is able to call on all these elements to design a fitness plan that best suits the needs of the individual client.

I firmly believe that each client is entitled to a highly customized and personalized program that best suits the needs of the particular individual in question. Every client is unique and their beliefs and personal needs should be respected.

    Hi Raymond, great stuff you are doing, been getting stuff from the net, but it feels so workable to get fitness stuff from a fellow Kenyan who understands our everyday challenges. keep up the good work, feed us with more fitness stuff we can do at the comfort of our homes, I’m fitness conscious but all the stuff i do is in my house as i don’t
    find much time to go to the gym, i wake up early and dedicate 30 min to fitness.

    Hi Raymond,

    i have been reading your articles for the last two years and at times your articles were the only reason for purchasing the newspaper.I have learnt so much from you and its such a pity to see the ignorance on most of our fitness experts.your recent feature on the slim shows was on point and its sad that millions of kenyans are being misguided.
